Transition to Full Online Communication via OJS

2026-01-14

The Sarawak Journal of Pharmacy (SJP) wishes to inform all authors, reviewers, and editorial contributors that effective 1 February 2026, all official communication related to manuscript submission, peer review, revisions, and editorial decisions will be conducted exclusively through the Online Journal System (OJS) platform.

This transition aims to enhance transparency, efficiency, and traceability throughout the publication process. By centralising all correspondence within OJS, authors will be able to conveniently monitor the status of their manuscripts, receive reviewer comments, submit revisions, and communicate with the editorial office in a structured and timely manner.

Authors are therefore advised to:

  • Ensure that their registered email address in OJS is active and regularly monitored

  • Log in to the OJS platform periodically to check for updates and editorial notifications

  • Submit all revised manuscripts and responses to reviewers only via OJS

Please note that email communication outside the OJS platform will no longer be used for routine editorial processes, except where necessary for administrative or technical matters.

The Editorial Office remains committed to providing support throughout this transition. Should you encounter any difficulties using the OJS platform, please contact us at swkjpharm@gmail.com.

We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to continuing to support high-quality pharmacy research through a more streamlined and transparent publishing workflow.
