Categories of manuscripts accepted for consideration by the Sarawak Journal of Pharmacy.
Sarawak Journal of Pharmacy accepts a range of manuscript types covering clinical pharmacy, pharmaceutical sciences, public health, and related disciplines. Authors are advised to select the most appropriate category prior to submission.
Original Articles report novel research findings in areas including, but not limited to, clinical pharmacy, pharmacy practice, pharmacology, pharmacogenomics, pharmacoeconomics, pharmacoinformatics, pharmaceutics, regulatory pharmacy, public health, epidemiology, health policy, health sciences, medical law and ethics, and traditional and complementary medicine.
Short Communications are concise reports of particularly pertinent findings that warrant rapid dissemination. Manuscripts are subject to peer review and editorial policy.
Submissions should not exceed approximately 2,000 words. This category is not intended for short studies per se, but for findings of immediate relevance to the readership.
Letters to the Editor are brief communications addressed to the Editor, typically responding to articles previously published in the Sarawak Journal of Pharmacy.
Review Articles provide comprehensive and critical analyses of specific topics relevant to the Journal’s scope.
Systematic reviews must be submitted in accordance with PRISMA guidelines. Authors are required to submit:
Protocols describe verified methodologies and detailed study plans for proposed or ongoing research projects. Submissions should clearly outline objectives, methodology, and planned analyses.
The Sarawak Journal of Pharmacy does not accept single case reports.
Case Series involving an adequate number of samples and supported by appropriate statistical analyses may be considered for publication.
